Child Mentoring for a child/group of siblings aged 5-16 years. Trained volunteers offer dependable support on a weekly basis to families living in Hammersmith & Fulham. Each volunteer is matched to one family who they visit for two hours a week in the family's home for a minimum of six months. The support is either parent or child focused. Our work with children is always within the family context. Volunteer befrienders/mentors are managed with a weekly programme of supervision from Family Friends' staff.
