TAILORED SUPPORT

Young Hammersmith & Fulham knows that one size has never fit all and that whilst we may share a common goal, no two youth organisations are the same. Every organisation has its individual mission, strengths and pressures which is why our support is always tailored to fit, not forced to match.

One to One Support for Smaller Organisations

We offer dedicated one-to-one support for voluntary youth organisations with an income under £50,000. Running a small organisation often means spinning multiple plates with limited time and resources. That’s why our support is practical and personal. Whether you need help with funding applications, safeguarding policies or simply need someone to talk through your options, we’re here to walk alongside you. We don’t do jargon or judgment - just tailored support that meets you where you are.

Support When You Need It

While our dedicated one-to-one support is reserved for smaller organisations, we’re always open to offering advice, guidance or collaboration to any of our community members where we can. You don’t have to be under any income bracket to reach out to us. If you're part of our community and facing a challenge, we're open to finding ways to help. Our support might not always look the same - it could be strategic advice, introductions or just helping you to shape your thinking.

The Buildings for Young People Alliance is a perfect example of how Young H&F works with our community to support their needs.

A group of local youth clubs approached us with a shared concern - that the role and value of physical spaces for young people in the borough were being overlooked. Young Hammersmith & Fulham brought these organisations together, creating space for open conversation and collaboration.

Through a series of meetings with key stakeholders, we helped shape a collective voice and lay the foundations for what would become the Buildings for Young People Alliance. We supported the group in defining their shared purpose, identifying their goals, and establishing how they wanted the alliance to work.

Once the vision was clear and the structure in place, Young H&F empowered the Alliance to take ownership of the issues they wanted to explore, and continue to facilitate this to take place.

It’s a model of how we work: responsively and collaboratively.
