These Terms of Service set out how you may use our website, membership portal, and services. By using our site, attending our events, or becoming a member, you agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
Young Hammersmith & Fulham (Young H&F) is a Young People’s Foundation that supports youth-focused voluntary and community organisations in Hammersmith & Fulham.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing our website, signing up to events, joining our membership, or using our portal, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.
3. Eligibility & Membership
Membership is open to voluntary and community organisations that support young people in Hammersmith & Fulham.
Membership benefits (such as training, networks, and funding opportunities) are available only to active members.
We may suspend or withdraw membership if terms are breached.
4. Using the Website & Portal
Use the site and portal for lawful purposes only.
Login details are for your organisation’s authorised staff and must not be shared.
You may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission.
5. Events & Training
Please let us know if you cannot attend an event you have signed up for. This helps us manage spaces and resources.
Some events may be recorded, photographed, or livestreamed. We will always make this clear and ask for consent where required.
If there are fees for an event, cancellation and refund details will be shared at the time of booking.
6. Funding & Grantmaking
Funding decisions are made against Young H&F criteria and are final.
If your organisation receives funding, you must follow Young H&F reporting and monitoring requirements.
Young H&F is not responsible for how your organisation spends funds outside of those requirements.
7. Youth Voice Opportunities
Young people taking part in our Youth Advisory Board or Young Grantmakers Programme do so voluntarily or under a set agreement.
Safeguarding policies apply at all times.
Parental or guardian consent is required for under-18s.
8. Intellectual Property
The Young H&F name, logo, and website content belong to Young H&F and may not be used without permission.
If you contribute content (such as case studies or photos), you give us permission to use it for our charitable purposes, with credit where appropriate.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR and handle personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you agree that we may process your data in line with this policy.
10. Liability Disclaimer
Our website and services are provided “as is.”
We cannot guarantee that information will always be complete, accurate, or available.
We are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage from use of our services.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your membership or access to our portal if these terms are breached or if your membership lapses.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the bottom and, where appropriate, notify members by email or in our newsletter.
