Hikayetna is the trading name of Destanzan CIC. Hikayetna is a not-for-profit community organisation that fosters unity and empowerment within our local community. Our flagship project, Hikayetna (Our Story), was launched in 2014 to nurture young people and amplify underrepresented voices. We believe in art and culture's power to bring diverse communities and promote cohesion and integration. At Hikayetna, we are committed to creating a space where people from all backgrounds can find common ground and shared interests. Our project is apolitical and non-religious, focusing instead on building connections and understanding among individuals. Through culture and art, we aim to bridge divides and cultivate a sense of belonging for everyone in our community.
